Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Time Exploration Team and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Darkness Exploration Team are the two newest games to be released in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series. Although these games are not continuations of the previous Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games (Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team), they still retain the Mystery Dungeon look and feel so you should be quick to adapt to the new game.

The game follows a similar premise as the first: after answering about half a dozen questions to help figure out your personality, you'll be turned into a Pokemon that matches the personality of the questions you've answered. Depending on if you are a boy or girl (or how you answer), the personalities and available Pokemon will be slightly different. You will also be able to choose a Partner Pokemon that will help you through your adventure, although the choice of Partner Pokemon will also depend on the personality you've chosen and the Pokemon that you've become.

Questions
How you answer the questions determines what Pokemon you will become.

The plot of the games seems to be quite a bit different from the last in the series, though. Rather than joining a Rescue Team and help save Pokemon, you and your Partner join a Guild run by a well-respected and feared Wigglytuff, and venture into dungeons for treasure and to help Pokemon find things that they might have lost. In addition to that, there are several Pokemon that are Wanted, like criminals, and you may have to have a showdown with these fierce Pokemon later on.

Right now, this game is out only in Japan! My Japanese translation skills are far from perfect, but I will be doing my best to provide as much information and as many details as possible! If I end up making some mistakes in the plot, well, that's just how it goes. I will have the full dialogue from my playthrough as a reference in case I ever need to look back at anything. If you are well-versed in reading both Japanese and English, contact me and let me know, and maybe we can work something out. But for now, don't take anything as canon and understand that it is subject to change.
